Like all responsible companies, Armada is acutely aware of its impact on the environment and recognizes the importance of reducing its carbon footprint in everyday operations. Our customers look to us to engage in environmental initiatives, and we feel it is our obligation to make as many improvements as possible in this area. To accomplish this, we carefully assess all opportunities and implement any environmentally friendly and commercially feasible alterations to our overall processes.
This year, our objective will be to identify processes and service providers within Armada that support environmental conservation and develop a proposal for the implementation of process improvements that align with our sustainability goals. At Armada, we pride ourselves in proactively identifying and implementing “green” business practices – not just for our customers, but also for our own peace of mind.
SmartWay Means a Better Way of Doing Business
In recognition of LXP’s efforts to improve the environmental performance of our freight operations, the EPA has certified LXP as a “SmartWay Transport Partner.” Launched in 2004, SmartWay is an EPA initiative designed to save money, reduce fuel consumption and protect the environment by identifying and promoting products and services that decrease transportation-related emissions. As a SmartWay Transport Planner, LXP is committed to growing our business with SmartWay-certified carriers and reducing the impact of freight transportation on the environment.
